Gene Coulter LLMSW

Gene Coulter brings more than 15 years of experience working with individuals and families through difficult circumstances, major life changes, and periods of uncertainty. His background in human services and case management has given him a deep understanding of the challenges people face and the many different ways life can get off track. Gene also brings a great deal of life experience to his work, allowing him to connect with clients in a grounded, practical, and genuine way.

Gene works with young adults and adults who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, lack of motivation, relationship or family concerns, or simply feeling like they are not where they thought they would be in life. He understands that people do not always come to therapy because everything is falling apart. Sometimes you just know something needs to change. You may feel stuck, unsure of your direction, disappointed in yourself, or frustrated because you know you are capable of more but cannot seem to figure out how to move forward.

Gene’s approach to therapy is supportive, straightforward, and focused on results. He will listen and provide a space where you can be honest without judgment, but he will also challenge you when needed. Gene believes therapy should help you better understand what is getting in your way, take responsibility for the things you can change, and develop practical steps toward the life you want. His goal is to help clients build confidence, motivation, purpose, and a greater sense of control over their future.
