Courtney Way, LPC
Courtney Way works with neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, and disabled teens and adults who are tired of feeling like they have to hide parts of themselves just to get through the day. Maybe you’ve spent years masking, pushing through sensory or emotional overwhelm, questioning where you fit, or feeling like other people just don’t quite understand you. You may be dealing with anxiety, chronic stress, big emotions, identity questions, or simply feeling exhausted from trying to function in spaces that weren’t designed with you in mind.
Courtney creates a warm, accepting space where you don’t have to explain, justify, or shrink who you are. As a queer, disabled Creative Arts Therapist and Registered Drama Therapist, she understands that sometimes words alone aren’t enough. Therapy can include conversation, creativity, storytelling, play, movement, or other forms of self-expression…whatever helps you feel most comfortable being yourself.
Courtney helps clients make sense of what they’ve been carrying, let go of shame, better understand their emotions and needs, and reconnect with the parts of themselves that may have been pushed aside for a long time. You don’t need to be artistic or know exactly what you want from therapy. You simply need a place where your full self is welcome. Courtney will meet you there and help you begin building a life that feels more authentic, connected, and genuinely yours.
